Young Life camping involves high adventure, lots of fun, great food, and excellent speakers who understand and respect high school and middle school kids. At Young Life's Saranac Lake, kids are treated to resort-quality facilities for which Young Life has become known. There are plenty of fundraisers to help you raise money for your trip. We would love to have your son or daughter join us for this incredible week. Most kids say this is a fun and significant week.

If your son or daughter has shown an interest in Young Life, you may be wondering, “What is Young Life? What is its purpose?” In Young Life, we seek to reveal to adolescents the message of God’s immense love through the friendship of their peers and an adult leader.

At camp, your son or daughter will participate in planned and supervised activities run by trained volunteer leaders and staff. A certified EMT or nurse will also be on duty at the camp. If you need to reach your student you can text Dave Etling at 740-359-1193.

PHONES/SMARTWATCHES/TABLETS: You can bring these items on the bus to and from camp; however, we will collect them and keep them safe when we arrive at camp. Cell phones do not work well at our camp location and there are free long-distance phones at camp to use at any time.

There are plenty of fundraisers for students to do to raise money for your camp trip. Even though that is true we are asking families to start paying $50 a month towards your Young Life camp trip upon your deposit. We will send you an email with the link to start these $50 monthly payments the month after your $50 deposit. It is important these trips are paid for by the time we leave for camp. We are encouraging parents and students to plan earlier as our fundraisers are a tremendous service to participants, but it is important that the Young Life Area doesn't carry camp deficits due to as a result of students not being able to pay at the end.
